Resurrection Power Healing Crusades
Mission StatementOver the years the Lord has spoken two specific words to Reverend Watson concerning his resurrection power. First he said, “Resurrection Power is the power to touch something that is dead and make it live again.” Second he said, “The Resurrection Power of Jesus Christ in still healing the sick after 2000 years.” It is the mission of this ministry to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ and to demonstrate Christ’s Resurrection Power through performing signs and wonders. Healing the sick is just as much a part of the gospel as forgiveness of sins. The Lord has instructed Reverend Watson to hold healings crusades and has given Reverend Watson a promise. The Lord said, “You set them [healing crusades] up and I will show up.”
Who is Reverend David Watson?
Reverend Watson first heard the Lord call him to the ministry at ten years old. He accepted Christ and was baptized into the Holy Spirit at age sixteen. In January of 1983, at twenty-four years of age, he made a life changing decision to seek the Lord with all his heart. He was ordained into the ministry in April of 1985. In July of 1988 he and his wife Silvia founded their first church in Barstow, CA. Reverend Watson had a visitation from the Lord Jesus in July 15, 1991. Jesus laid his hand on Reverend Watson’s head and imparted to him the gift of healing and the gift of the Word of Knowledge. Shortly after this experience Reverend Watson began to conduct healing services and crusades. They both graduated from Bible School in 1993. In 1999, they founded their second church in Adelanto, CA. They moved back home to Enterprise, AL in 2006. Shortly after returning home they were offered a pastoral position from a local church which they accepted.
